This is a poem for a card that I wrote for my friends that got married not that long ago:
Happy
wedding to both of you,
I hope
you’re very happy.
The gift
I have prepared
For you
is in no way, sappy.
I have
$6.50, all in change,
I wish I
could give more;
But
sadly no, I cannot,
For I am
very poor.
So buy
yourself some ice cream,
Or some
other sweet thing,
And
prove to each other why
You gave
the other a ring.
But
that’s not all
I have
given more!
Some Dum
Dum’s and some Chew’s,
So when
you see me you will
Know,
that I have a little clue.
I hope
you will enjoy this gift
And what
I can provide,
So have
some fun through this one
Amazing
thrill ride.
I'm good, aren't I?
