Anna

CHAPTER TWO

After the doctor checked on mom, he said that she just had some minor illness. But then if it was only minor than why was it that dad looked so worn down?
"Dad?"
He just sat in a chair for a moment with his hands over his face. Then he looked up at me and said, "yes?"
"Is mom okay?"
"Yes, of corse she is."
"You sure?"
"Of corse I'm sure. Now come and sit on yer paps lap." He said pulling me closer to him. I sighed and sat on him, and wraped my arms around his neck, laying my head on his shoulder.
"Dad, what really is wrong with mom? I mean, this doesn't seem like some minor illness."
"All in due time sweet heart. All in due time."
What was that supposed to mean? That all in due time he'll tell me, or all in due time mom will... I don't want to say or think it. Never mind. So instead I sighed.

I sat in my dad's arms untill I fell asleap. And then I woke up to the sound of his voice.
"Anna, It's time to go to bed."
"Really? What time is it?"
"It's two in the morning."
"Why am I so tired then? Back in the states it's only eight p.m."
"Just go to sleep darlin. It's been a long day."
"Okay daddy. I love you. Kisses."
"Love you baby." He said as I walked away into my room.
When I got into my pajamas and into my bed I realized something. I missed my date with conner.
